You are gonna make a poster to convince yo family to go on vacation. You'll pick a location anywhere in the world. You must decide what time of year you would like to go. At the top of the poster will be the title"Why you should vacation in (city or country) during the(season)" Then you'll divide your poster in 4 parts:

1. Sun-draw a pic of the sun and label it the source of all energy

2. Season- draw a pic of earth w/ its axis tilted at the right direction in regards to the sun for the season you have chosen.Make sure to label the North and South Pole, hemisphere, season, axis, equator, and any other important features. The earth should be properly shadowed and show where to direst and inderect rays hit da earth during that season. You should also draw a star() where your vacation is located on the earth.

3. Weather-what will da climate be like? include words like evaporation, precipitation, groundwater, condensation, temp. , and any other ones you fell are applicable. When you use the words, their meanings should be clear. Don't copy def. for book!

4. Food Web- show that the sun is the immediate source of energy 4 all the living things in the area. It gives energy 2 the plants, which give energy to the animals. Show what plants and animals are in your location and properly draw the arrows of energy. Remember that the arrow points to the organism you give energy to. So the 1st arrow should go from the sun 2 the grass.

Learn about the hill station of Mahabaleshwar

The hill resort in western India called "Mahabaleshwar" is a great place for vacation. It was located a few hundred miles from Bombay. It was located in the western hill ranges of India with an elevation of 4500 ft from sea level. Its elevation makes this place cool even in Summer. The evaporation from the Arabian sea and its high elevation attracts heavy rain fall with a yearly precipitation of 292 inches. It has a mean annual temprature of 67 degrees. The relative humidity is 95%. Condensation, the process that causes rain, also keeps the mornings warmer because it releases heat when warm water vapor condenses. The rains in the monsoon season makes this place very green and provide incredible views of the mountain peaks in driving rain. It is a treat to watch the nature explode in rains on these mountains. The rushing waters cause hundreds of small water falls all across the mountain sides. There are lot of family boating opportunities in the lakes caused by the rains. Mahabaleshwar is also a birth place of one of the key sacred rivers of India called "Krishna". It flows across all of India from the west to the east and drains into the Bay of Bengal.

The rains bring temperatures down and replenish groundwater levels in the region for growing Strawberries in this region.
